Visit the exhibition CZ2: Visions for the Future of the Czech Republic during guided tours or at a roundtable discussion

The exhibition CZ2: Visions for the Future of the Czech Republic presents in Brno's Marketplace the visions of students under the guidance of MVRDV co-founder Winy Maas and educators from five universities, including Michal Palaščák and Szymon Rozwałka from the Brno FA VUT. Visit the exhibition as part of guided tours or during a roundtable discussion with guests.

The exhibition showcases a unique connection of students from the Faculty of Architecture at the Brno University of Technology and the Czech Technical University in Prague, the Faculty of Art and Architecture at the Technical University of Liberec, ARCHIP, TU Delft Faculty of Architecture & the Built Environment with the think-tank The Why Factory. Participants reflect on the future of the Czech Republic and bring hundreds of ideas for afforestation, national parks, industrial production, transportation infrastructure, housing, demography, population density, ecology, sociology, and economics. Don't miss the chance to find out how current architecture students are thinking!

Guided tour dates:

Wednesday, February 28, at 18:00 with Szymon Rozwałka

Wednesday, March 6, at 18:00 with Michal Palaščák

Sunday, March 10, at 16:00 with Szymon Rozwałka

As part of the exhibition, a discussion roundtable on the theme of searching for visions for Moravia will also take place on March 13, 2024, from 18:00. This discussion is part of the broader challenge of the entire exhibition – the challenge to create a stable national platform for defining visions of the republic, which will enable interdisciplinary debate across a wider professional and lay public. The list of guests will be announced in the following days.
