Summer school: Affordable and ecologically sustainable constructions from compacted clay

How to build ecologically, sustainably and yet affordably? In the summer school organized by Ing. Zdenek Vejpustek, Ph.D. you will learn practically and theoretically how it is built from compacted clay. The main lecturer will be British expert Rowland Keable. The summer school takes place from 11.7. until 15 July 2022 at the Faculty of Architecture, BUT.

The aim of the summer school entitled "Affordable and ecologically sustainable buildings from rammed earth" is to show the possibilities of rammed earth as an effective building material for the load-bearing structures of modern buildings. The academic community and the professional public will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the material, theory and experience from the construction of buildings made of compacted clay.
